Mr. Evans has built a career helping mining companies grow through financing, development, and strategic transactions across global markets.

Over more than two decades, he has led public companies through exploration, M&A, and project advancement across Canada, Latin America, Africa, and Asia.

Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Placer Dome.

Mining Leadership & Strategic Transactions

Mr. Evans is currently Chairman of Pan Global Resources Inc.

He previously served as CEO of Dominion Diamond Mines and Mountain Province Diamonds Inc.

His leadership includes successful company sales including Norsemont Mining to Hudbay Minerals, Weda Bay Minerals to Eramet S.A., and Southern Platinum to Lonmin plc.

Governance & Capital Markets

Mr. Evans’ boardroom focus includes governance, capital markets execution, and value realization through disciplined project advancement and M&A.

Education & Industry Recognition

A former South African diplomat, Mr. Evans served as Consul-General to Canada from 1994 to 1998.

He holds B.A. and B.Sc. degrees from the University of Cape Town.

His industry leadership has been recognized with the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada’s Viola R. MacMillan Award and the Association for Mineral Exploration’s Hugo Dummett Award.
